Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss and Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery have signed on play former best friends in the psychological thriller Queen of Earth. The beloved TV actresses will star as women who let their insecurities about the crumbling state of their friendship fuel their fears about each other at a vacation beach house.
Alex Ross Perry will write and direct.
Dockery is up for an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy this coming Monday. In arguably her best year on Mad Men, Moss was strangely missing from the nominees list.
