More Details on the Fox Mentoring Program for Women Directors

As you read earlier, Women and Hollywood will be one of the nominating organizations of the Fox Global Directors Initiative.

Each organization gets to nominated 10 women. After we put in the nominees, the folks at Fox will contact you for the submission process. Women and Hollywood will have no involvement after we submit our list names.

Because this is a unique program, we are taking the submission process very seriously. In order to be considered by Women and Hollywood you will need to have directed at least one feature, TV show, short or web series. This is not for people who have not yet directed.

Here’s what you need to do to be considered:

– Submit a short one paragraph resume of your work and a link to one trailer.

– Also include information about why you think you should be a part of this program.

– We also need your email address and phone number.

Directors can be from anywhere but please know if you get into the program you have to get yourself to LA and have your own housing. All submissions should be sent to [email protected]

Submissions are due by 5pm EST on July 28. We will only contact you if you are one of our 10 directors whose name will be submitted. Once your name is submitted to Fox, you will have to go through their entire submission process.
