In writer-director Karen Leigh Hopkins’ Miss Meadows, you can see Katie Holmes as you’ve never seen her before: as an elementary-school teacher by day and a gun-toting vigilante (in a flower-patterned dress and matching gloves) by night.
And it’ll be much easier to see Holmes in her star-remaking role this fall, when Miss Meadows makes its theatrical debut via Entertainment One Films. Jean Smart, Mary Kay Place, and James Badge Dale co-star.
Hopkins is the screenwriter of Stepmom and Because I Said So.
