Infographic: Women in Filmmaking at Sundance

Though the 2014 lineup at the Sundance was disappointingly low on women directors, the festival remains committed to advancing the ranks of women directors in the industry.

Two years ago, Sundance and Women in Film launched a joint longitudinal study that would follow the careers of Park City grads to study the gender distribution at the festival itself, as well as the post-festival careers of male and female directors.

Below is an infographic that shows how festival alums fare by gender, as well as the result of the famed “labs” Sundance sponsors to help promote the careers of future writers and filmmakers.
