“I already have a past — I’m more concerned about what comes next,” says McKenna (Liana Liberato, “To the Bone”) in a new trailer for “Light as a Feather’s” second season. The latest installment of the horror series sees the teen struggling to escape her past, try as she might.

McKenna has inherited the curse brought on by last season’s lethal game of Light as a Feather, and is terrified by the mysterious chrysalis on her back. Only one person can help — and she’s behind bars.

The trailer offers a glimpse of Violet (Haley Ramm, “Notorious”), who insists that McKenna’s only hope for a cure involves playing Light as a Feather again. And she’ll need to get out of prison to play with her.

“Light as a Feather’s” new season debuts July 26 on Hulu. Check out the trailer to see Alex (Brianne Tju, “Life After First Failure”) bristle at the prospect of having “a sleepover with a serial killer.”
