It’s a little hard not to be wary of a Carrie remake. The iconic 1976 film starring Sissy Spacek and a terrifying Piper Laurie is one of my favorite horror movies. But bring in acclaimed director Kimberly Peirce, one of my all-time favorite actresses Julianne Moore and arguably one of the best young actresses working right now, Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie — it’s hard not to be sold. The teaser trailer cements that this will be a movie to see when it hits theaters in the spring.
