How lucky are the folks thinking about The Help Oscar campaign that they have another opportunity to get Viola Davis out in the press talking about the film and challenging Hollywood to create more films like The Help. (Next time we will hope for the African American women to have some other occupation in the film)
Here’s Emma Stone and Viola talking to a reporter from The Telegraph. Here’s one of the questions to Viola:
Do you think Hollywood will learn anything from the success of this film?
Viola: That’s for Hollywood to answer. I hope that they see this as an example of the power of a great story. This movie was not projected to be this phenomenal hit that it’s been so you hope that people have the courage to recreate it again.
We can only hope.
