Want to check out a film festival without the hassle of ordering tickets, waiting in long lines, and dressing up? You’re in luck. You can experience the New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) Fall Shorts Festival from the comfort of your home, so put on some pajamas, order a pizza, and enjoy.
WIFT’s first-ever online film fest runs through November 17. The lineup consists of 74 projects by NYWIFT members. You can catch titles including Michelle Figlarz’s “Sisters,” a story about three lonely women who become desperados, and Tawny Foskett’s “Girls Who Smoke,” a portrait of women who bond over a pack of cigarettes.
Shorts will be available to view at any time throughout the fest.
