‘Agent Carter’ Showrunners Tara Butters & Michele Fazekas Sign Development Deal With ABC

Resurrection and Marvel’s Agent Carter showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas have signed a new development deal with ABC.

Under the two-year arrangement, the long-time writing partners will develop new half- and full-hour projects for the alphabet network, which airs both of their series.

“We’ve never done half-hour,” Butters noted. “I would love to fully lean into the comedy thing,” commented Fazekas.

The duo previously created CW’s cult hit Reaper. They met as assistants on The X-Files, received two WGA nominations for their work on Law and Order: SUV, and have also written for Hawaii Five-O, Terra Nova, and Dollhouse.
