Beyoncé took home the top prize at Saturday’s NAACP Image Awards. The musical artist, activist, and feminist icon won Entertainer of the Year, Deadline confirms.

The “Lemonade” singer shouted out her fellow nominees — Oscar-winning actress Regina King, NBA star LeBron James, “Black Panther” actor Chadwick Boseman, and director Ryan Coogler — in her acceptance speech. “I’m honored to be included among all of you and to be part of a vital, thriving, beautiful community,” she emphasized.

The night’s other major winners included Taraji P. Henson (Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for “Empire”); Amandla Stenberg (Outstanding Actress: Motion Picture for “The Hate U Give”); Tracee Ellis Ross (Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for “Black-ish”); and Letitia Wright (Outstanding Breakthrough Performance: Motion Picture for “Black Panther”). “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin nabbed two statuettes: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance by a Youth.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters accepted the NAACP Chairman’s Award and delivered a heartfelt speech about her service and the milestones she’s achieved in her career. “After a long career journey, tonight I stand before you as the first woman and the first African-American to chair the powerful U.S. House Financial Services Committee,” she said. “Yes, I got the gavel and I’m not afraid to use it.”

President’s Award winner — and Beyoncé’s husband — JAY-Z used his speech to pay tribute to the women in his life, his grandmother among them. “I grew up believing I could do anything, that I could accomplish anything because of those strong women in my house,” he revealed.
