Bridesmaids Box Office Stays Strong

Just a little bit of news on the box office for Bridesmaids. Variety has reported that it beat Thor at the box office on Monday and Tuesday. As of yesterday, the gross was over $32 million which means it has made back its production cost in the first week.

And in other Bridesmaids news, Annie Mumolo is the “it” the writer of the moment. She scored a deal with ABC yesterday to develop a show and this is on top of the pitch she and Melissa McCarthy sold to Paramount. Score one in the good gals column for once.
