Cara Delevingne to Star as a Daredevil Activist in Hayley Easton Street’s “The Climb”

Delevingne in "Carnival Row": Jan Thijs/Amazon

Cara Delevingne will take her fight for environmental justice to epic heights in “The Climb,” an upcoming eco thriller. Deadline reports that the “Suicide Squad” actress is set to topline the film about “six ordinary women who, as part of Greenpeace-led protest action against Shell Oil’s plans to drill in the Arctic, scale the tallest building in Europe, London’s Shard.”

Hayley Easton Street, a VFX art director with credits on “Justice League” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” wrote the script and will be making her feature directorial debut on the project.

Eclipse Films is producing “The Climb.” The pic is being shopped to buyers at the European Film Market, taking place virtually from February 10-17.

“Carnival Row,” “Her Smell,” and “Paper Towns” are among Delevingne’s credits.
