Cher to Bring More Glamour to Television Screens with 60s Focused Project

nullPersonal life icon and owner of my favorite Twitter account, Cher, has recently inked a development deal with Logo, an LGBT focused network that has blessed lives with RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Cher, alongside comedian Ron Zimmerman, are working together to write a pilot script set in early 1960s Hollywood.  Logo Senior VP of Original Programming Brent Zacky spoke about the partnership.

We read some of the stuff that Cher and Ron had written and it was really terrific. We came up with an idea set in Hollywood in the early '60s, and we're very excited to see how we get through the process. The deal is brand-new and we're just getting started on the project.

Zacky is also interested collaborating with the duo on other projects including unscripted ones.  As of now, it is not known if Cher will take an on-screen role.
