Christine Evangelista to Star in ‘The Arrangement,’ E!’s Scripted, Cynical Take on Celebrity Culture

Rising star Christine Evangelista (“Chicago Fire”) will assume the lead in E!’s second scripted series as a (hopefully) different type of rising star: one who’s offered a Faustian bargain of being made into an industry puppet in exchange for fame and fortune.

“The Arrangement” finds actress Megan Morrison (Evangelista) clinching a big role in a sure-to-be summer blockbuster opposite the Kyle West (Josh Henderson), the actor of the moment. Megan and Kyle share a fantastic audition that transitions seamlessly into a magical first date, which segues not so effortlessly into the presentation of a contract that outlines her entire relationship with her future co-star. Megan must then decide whether selling out her personal life is worth her ambitions.

After how well Lifetime’s “UnReal” pulled the curtain back on reality dating shows, we’re definitely ready for this gossipy take on how our celebrity sausage is made.
