“Happiest Season” collaborators and “Veep” co-stars Clea DuVall and Mary Holland are re-teaming. “The pair are developing single-camera comedy series ‘Day Job’ with ‘Dave’ producer Temple Hill and Lionsgate TV,” per Deadline.

The half-our series tells the story of Meg (Holland), a naïve woman “who is oblivious to the fact that she has never quite fit in with her wealthy, business-savvy family. When Meg is framed by her father for a white-collar crime she is not smart enough to commit, Meg attempts to sever ties with him and the rest of her family, and vows to start a new life without any of their help. Armed with zero life experience or skills, Meg joins the workforce and quickly discovers that the road to her fresh start is not going to be as smooth as she had hoped,” the source teases.

Holland co-wrote and co-starred in “Happiest Season,” DuVall’s second feature as a director. Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis led the holiday-themed queer rom-com. The pic broke Hulu records and made a major splash on Twitter.

Duvall is writing, directing, and exec producing an adaptation of indie rockers Tegan and Sarah’s 2019 memoir, “High School,” for IMDb TV. She’s set to appear on-screen in “The First Lady,” an upcoming Showtime anthology series about former First Ladies. Her other acting credits include “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “But I’m a Cheerleader.”

Holland has two Netflix projects on the way, comedy pic “Senior Year” and thriller series “The Woman in the House.” Rebel Wilson leads the former and Kristen Bell the latter.
