Chicken & Egg Pictures will be honoring Cynthia Lopez during this year’s Independent Film Week. Lopez will receive the 2013 Good Egg Award which is annually given to a leader in the independent film community.
Lopez is the Executive Vice President and Co-Executive Producer of the PBS documentary series, POV. She’s helped make POV an excellent platform to showcase women directors and their work. Lopez is also a co-founder of NALIP (National Association for Latino Producers).
Five Chicken & Egg Pictures grantees will be participating in the IFP’s Independent Film Week Project Forum this year.
Lopez will receive her award this evening at Chicken & Egg Pictures annual Independent Film Week celebration.
