Diablo Cody’s Paradise to Premiere on Direct TV Next Week

null

As we previously reported, Diablo Cody’s directorial debut was hitting theaters on October 18th, the same day that Kimberly Peirce’s remake of horror classic Carrie drops as well.

However, those of you that have Direct TV are in for a treat. Cody tweeted yesterday that Paradise would be premiering on Direct TV on August 8th–and urged her followers to stay in to check out the film with a pizza.

Paradise stars Julianne Hough as an Evangelical Christian girl, who after surviving a plane crash, questions her beliefs and heads to Las Vegas to commit the sins she’s never experienced.

While it’s unclear why Cody’s film is premiering on Direct TV months ahead of it’s theatrical release, as of now it’s still slated to be released on October 18th. If you have Direct TV, be sure to check out Paradise and report back.
