Diane Keaton to be Honored with Sherry Lansing Leadership Award

Diane Keaton will receive The Hollywood Reporter’s Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. The award recognizes a woman who works in the entertainment industry who is a leader, pioneer and philanthropist. Previous recipients include Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, Barbara Walters, Halle Berry, Jodie Foster and Glenn Close.

The Hollywood Reporter’s editorial director, Janice Min talked about honoring Keaton with this award.

For four decades, Diane Keaton has shown women how far we can go and how deeply we can effect change. She is a brilliant actress and a role model for women across generations.

Keaton will receive the award at The Hollywood Reporter’s 21st annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast on December 5th, which coincides with the release of their annual list of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment.
