Emerald Fennell and Rosamund Pike Team Up for “Saltburn”

Pike in "The Wheel of Time"

Emerald Fennell is collaborating with another Academy Award-nominated actress. The “Promising Young Woman” breakout, who landed an Oscar for writing the revenge thriller as well as nods for Best Director and Best Picture, will follow up the Carey Mulligan-starrer with “Saltburn,” a pic about “a grand, aristocratic English family” led by Rosamund Pike. Deadline broke the news.

Pike received an Oscar nod for her leading role in “Gone Girl.” More recently, she’s been seen in films such as “I Care A Lot” and “Radioactive,” and the Amazon Prime Video fantasy series “The Wheel of Time,” which has been renewed for a second season.

Also an actress, Fennell’s on-screen credits include “The Crown” and “Call the Midwife.”

Filming on “Saltburn” will kick off later this year.
