If there’s anyone who can humanize a famous puppy-killer, it’s probably Emma Stone.
So it makes a kind of sense that the actress is in talks to star in "Cruella," an origin story for the fur-obsessed Cruella de Vil, who was first seen in 1961’s "101 Dalmatians."
No director is currently attached to the project, which is planned to shoot later this year. Disney reportedly considers the film a "priority" for the studio. Kelly Marcel has taken over writing duties from Aline Brosh McKenna.
