Emma Watson is set to star in Francesca Gregorini’s Your Voice in My Head adapted from Emma Forrest’s memoir of the same title.
The film, adapted by Forrest, follows a young woman who is living a chaotic life in New York. She attempts suicide before being saved by a psychologist who is also fighting for his own life. Watson had previously been attached to the project when Harry Potter director, David Yates was set to direct.
Watson was last seen in Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring. She will next be seen in 2014’s Noah. Gregorini’s latest, The Truth About Emanuel, premiered at Sundance. It’s slated to be released in late 2013.
Your Voice In My Head starts shooting in New York in November.
