Galt Niederhoffer’s latest has secured distribution. Vision Films scored North American rights to romance “10 Things We Should Do Before We Break Up,” Deadline reports. Christina Ricci toplines the pic.
The film sees a single mom (Ricci) falling for an irresponsible man (Hamish Linklater, “Legion”). Convinced that the relationship is doomed, the pair decide to create a list of 10 things they should do before they go their separate ways.
A day and date theatrical release is being planned for February 2020.
Ricci received a 2006 Emmy nod for her guest role on “Grey’s Anatomy” and a 1999 Golden Globe nomination for her performance in “The Opposite of Sex.” “Z: The Beginning of Everything,” “Mothers and Daughters,” and “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles” are among her more recent credits. She rose to fame as a child star, appearing in titles such as “The Addams Family,” “Casper,” and “Now and Then.”
Niederhoffer previously collaborated with Ricci. She co-wrote the screenplay for 2001 Ricci-starrer “Prozac Nation.” She made her feature directorial debut with 1998’s “Myth America,” and most recently helmed 2010’s “The Romantics.”
