Jennifer Garner and Director Patricia Riggen to Team Up for ‘Miracles From Heaven’

Jennifer Garner has landed her first leading role since 2011’s “Butter” in Patricia Riggen’s faith-based film “Miracles From Heaven.”

Based on Christy Beam’s novel, the plot centers on a young girl miraculously cured of her rare disorder after a terrible ordeal.

Garner will next work on “Nine Lives,” starring Kevin Spacey as a “stuffy businessman” trapped in his cat’s body. (Seriously.)

Riggen previously directed “Under the Same Moon,” “Girl in Progress,” and the upcoming Chilean mining drama “The 33,” which opens November 13.
