Jodie Foster to Direct ‘Money Monster’

As we previously reported, Jodie Foster will be directing and executive producing, Angie’s Body, a new series for Showtime. According to The Playlist reports that Foster has also recently signed on to direct the feature, Money Monster, a financial drama.

The film will follow “TV money personality, Lee Cates, who gets taken hostage on air by Kyle, a man who lost all his money due to bad advice from Cates. The ratings for the television show skyrocket as a result of the on-air hostage situation.”

We will watch the progress of both projects.
