Attend 50/50 by 2020 Gender Parity in Entertainment Summit

Swedish Film Institute, Stockholm: Mark Standley

On October 25 in Los Angeles, SAG-AFTRA and the Swedish Film Institute will host a one-day summit on the topic of gender parity in the entertainment industry. The all-day event will feature discussions on progressive initiatives, and how they might inform efforts in Hollywood towards a more gender-forward, inclusive industry.

Highlights of the all-day event will include remarks from SAG-AFTRA president Gabriel Carteris, and a special focus on the Swedish film industry and how it is advancing gender equality in the film industry.

The all-day event will include Hollywood producers and organizations who are on the leading edge of embracing unconscious bias training, mentorship programs, diversity departments, equity clauses, and the financing and distribution of women-led films.

Admission to the event is free, and you can register here to attend. The full schedule of events is below, courtesy of SAG-AFTRA.
