Starbuck is heading back to space. “Battlestar Galactica” alumna Katee Sackhoff’s upcoming Netflix sci-fi series, “Another Life,” has set a premiere date. The interstellar story will drop July 25, according to TV Line.
“Another Life” sees Sakhoff playing Niko Breckinridge, an astronaut searching for alien intelligence. “As she leads a young crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission,” the source hints. The supporting cast includes Selma Blair (“American Crime Story”) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (“The Walking Dead”).
The series consists of 10 episodes.
Best known for her role as Starbuck, a fighter pilot in Syfy’s critically acclaimed re-imagining of “Battlestar Galactica,” Sackhoff’s other credits include “Longmire” and “The Flash.”
