Post Twilight and post Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart has booked two indie roles.
The first is in Camp X-Ray, a political drama, in which Stewart will be starring. She’ll play a guard at Guantanamo Bay and befriends a prisoner who has been held there for the last eight years. It’s the directorial debut of Peter Sattler with Gina Kwon and Sophia Lin producing.
Her second role is in Olivier Assayas’s Sils Maria. Stewart will play the assistant to Juliette Binoche’s famous film actress who is becoming obsessed with a young, up and coming starlet (Chloe Grace Moretz).
We are looking forward to seeing what Stewart does as she leaves the Twilight franchise behind.
