Apparently there’s an award out there that Meryl Streep hasn’t already won.
The “Ricki and the Flash” actress will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film at the 2015 British Academy Britannia Awards on October 30. Previous honorees of the Kubrick Award include Robert Downey Jr., George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood and Steven Spielberg.
Streep will be the award’s first female recipient.
The perpetual Oscar nominee currently stars in the Diablo Cody-penned “Ricki and the Flash.” She will next appear on screen as feminist activist Emmeline Pankhurst in “Suffragette” (out October 23).
