Michelle Wolf is returning to her old stomping grounds. The comedian’s latest stand-up special, “Joke Show,” is coming to Netflix, the home of her former talk show. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news.
Slated to drop December 10, “Joke Show” sees Wolf aiming to fight “for women’s equality … but not in, like, that annoying way.” She’ll “explore the differences between men and women and the larger subject of gender equality and explain why society should be a little ‘less’ woke,” according to the source.
“I don’t even think about people liking or not liking me,” Wolf has said. “I think about making people laugh.”
Wolf hosted “The Break With Michelle Wolf” for Netflix in 2018. The variety show lasted one season.
“Joke Show” marks Wolf’s second special. Her first, 2017’s “Nice Lady,” aired on HBO and received an Emmy nod.
The “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” alumna’s acting credits include “Horace and Pete” and “The Awesomes.”
