Mila Kunis to Executive Produce Feminist TV Drama for The CW

Mila Kunis will be executive producing a drama for The CW on feminism! The headline from the Hollywood Reporter “Mila Kunis to Exec Produce Women’s Lib Drama for CW” piqued our interest since most TV shows are not so blatantly feminist.

Meridian Hills will look at a midwestern country club during the the begining of the women’s movement in the 70s. A newly married woman joins the Junior League at the country club and meets a group of women who want to shake things up.

Sydney Sidner will write the script as well as executive produce. Also executive producing are Lisa Sterbakov, Cami Curtis and Susan Curtis. As of now, Kunis is not attached to appear in the project.

We’ll be watching this one.
