Nancy Giles has been named as the host of the 2019 Theatre Women Awards. A press release announced the news. Presented by the League of Professional Theatre Women in New York on March 25, this year’s honorees include feminist activist and advocacy group The Kilroys, director/choreographer Graciela Daniele, and director May Adrales.
An Emmy Award-winning contributor to “CBS News Sunday Morning,” Giles was most recently seen Off-Broadway in “Good For Otto.” Her other credits include talk radio’s “Giles and Moriarty” and TV series “China Beach.”
Playwright Sarah Ruhl, scenic designer Christine Jones, and theater critic Alexis Greene are among this year’s presenters.
