Gale Ann Hurd will receive the Producers Guild of America’s 2015 David O. Selznick Achievement Award.
Hurd will be feted in a ceremony on January 24. “I am humbled to be mentioned in the same breath as the legendary producer David O. Selznick, and to receive an award in his name is truly an honor in and of itself,” she commented. “But even more important to me is the recognition it represents from my esteemed peers and colleagues at the Producers Guild of America.”
The industry veteran is currently an executive producer of The Walking Dead. Her producing credits also include The Terminator, Aliens, Tremors, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Dante’s Peak, Armageddon, Dick, The Punisher, Aeon Flux, The Incredible Hulk, and Very Good Girls.
