QVC Bans Jane Fonda From Promoting Her New Book

It’s not like Jane Fonda was going to go on QVC to promote god-forbid feminist issues, she was going on QVC to promote her new book Prime Time: Love; Health; Sex; Fitness; Friendship; Spirit; Making the most of all of your life which comes out in early August.

It’s QVC’s loss. She has track record for her books. She’s a best-selling, number one author for her memoir My Life So Far (which if you haven’t read you are missing something special) and she has sold millions of exercise videos and DVDs.

But QVC cancelled her appearance one day before she was supposed to be on because they had received protests from a statement she made in the early 70s about the Vietnam War.

Fonda has a two upcoming films. And If We All Lived Together which will be the closing night film at the upcoming Locarno Film Festival and Peace, Love and Misunderstanding co-starring Catherine Keener.

If you want to give QVC a piece of your mind here’s how. Email them here or call 1.888.345.5788 and dial 0
