Reed Morano’s ‘Meadowland’ Gets International Distribution Deal Ahead of Tribeca Debut

“Frozen River” and “The Skeleton Twins” cinematographer Reed Morano will make her directorial debut with “Meadowland,” a film about the disintegration of a marriage following the disappearance of the couple’s son.

Starring Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson, “Meadowland” is set to compete later this month in the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival (April 15–26), where the drama will make its world debut. But the film, which co-stars Elisabeth Moss, Juno Temple and Merritt Wever, has already landed an international distribution deal with K5. No release date has yet been announced, but we suspect one will be coming along shortly.

Morano was named one of Variety’s “10 Cinematographers to Watch” in 2011. Wilde produced “Meadowland” alongside Margot Hand, Matt Tauber and Aaron L. Gilbert.
