Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, and Jane Fonda Among Variety’s Power of Women Honorees

A quintet of Hollywood power players and luminaries will be recognized for their philanthropic efforts on October 10.

Variety’s 6th annual Power of Women luncheon will name Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lopez, and Universal Chairwoman Donna Langley as Lifetime Impact Honorees for their charity work.

Variety lists which causes each woman has championed:

“Fonda is being recognized for her work with the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential, which focuses on teen pregnancy prevention and healthy choices. Witherspoon will be honored for her participation in the Malala Fund, which empowers girls through education in developing countries. Lopez oversees the Lopez Family Foundation, which works on access to medical care for women and children. Davis supports childhood hunger organization Hunger Is, while Universal’s Langley will be honored for her work with women’s development organization Vital Voices.”
