Rose Byrne is reportedly in negotiations to star in the comedy “Home Again,” according to Variety. The film will be written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, daughter of Nancy Meyers, who is set to executive produce.
Black Bicycle Entertainment will finance the picture, with the company’s founder Erika Olde also serving as a producer. MadRiver Pictures will be introducing the film to international buyers at the Cannes Film Festival, which begins today.
The film centers on a recently separated mother of two, “who takes in three young men, with charm to spare.”
Byrne co-stars in this summer’s “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” Her other credits include “Spy,” “X-Men: First Class,” “Bridesmaids,” and “Insidious. On the small-screen, she headlined the FX series “Damages” opposite Glenn Close.
