I am not a person who watches reality shows regularly. I want to slit my wrists when I am at the gym and those Housewives or Kardashians come on. But I have to say I was very intrigued to see that Roseanne was going to allow Lifetime onto her macadamia nut farm in Hawaii where she now lives.

I have to say that Roseanne’s show (I saw the first episode is advance of its premiere tonight on Lifetime) kind of reminded me of the first season of The Osbournes when they were just running amok and let us common folk into their mansion. Roseanne is hysterical and bit nuts. But she’s my kind of nuts. She left LA cause it made her crazy and moved to Hawaii with her boyfriend Johnny and her son Buck.

The episode focuses on her attempt to track some pigs on her farm that are wreaking havoc on her. And mind you the thing you understand very quickly is that everything is about her. She hires some guys to track and get rid of the pigs and then can’t bring herself to have them killed. You will also get to see a bit of her relationship with her son which is very funny and close.

If you want to see a funny woman on TV (and Roseanne is funny when she opens her mouth) who doesn’t spend her time talking botox and the other ridiculousness of the typical reality shows then this one is for you.
