Stephany Folsom to Pen ‘Thor 3’

Stephany Folsom has been confirmed as the writer for “Thor 3.”

That makes Folsom the third female screenwriter for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after Nicole Perlman (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Meg LeFauve (“Captain Marvel” with Perlman).

“Thor: Ragnarok” will find Chris Hemsorth’s Norse god teaming up with The Hulk.

Folsom penned the 2013 Black List script “1969: A Space Odyssey or How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon,” a fictional story about how the famous director is convinced to fake the moon landing. She also wrote “The Princess of North Sudan,” an upcoming Disney film about an American man who colonizes a small part of Africa and proclaims himself its royal ruler.
