Stockholm International Film Festival Announces Competition Films and Lineup

The Stockholm International Film Festival has announced their films in competition and their general lineup. The 24th annual festival runs from November 6–17 and will screen over 180 films from 50 countries.

Below are the women directed films in competition for the Stockholm XXIV competition and the Fipresci prize. The competition at this festival is different because it includes people’s first, second or third film. You can find a full lineup of the festival here.

Stockholm XXIV Competition:

Atertraffen by Anna Odell (Sweden, 88 min)

Bad Hair by Mariana Rondón (Venezuela, 93 min)

Concussion by Stacie Passon (USA, 96 min)

Grand Central by Rebecca Zlotowski (France/Austria, 93 min)

Miele by Valeria Golino (Italy/France, 90 min)

The Selfish Giant by Clio Barnard (UK, 91 min)

Open Zone:

Abuse of Weakness by Catherine Breillat (France/Belgium/Germany, 104 min)
