The fourth annual New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) Online Shorts Festival is now accepting submissions, a press release has announced. NYWIFT members are welcome to enter their short or mid-length films, TV pilots, or webisodes for potential inclusion in the fest.
Submitted projects must be under 45 minutes. Shorts must be under 26 minutes, and mid-length films must be 26-45 minutes. No projects completed before 2016 will be considered.
Submissions must feature a current NYWIFT member in a key creative role. The member must be the one to submit the project to the fest. If you are not a member but want to submit to the Online Shorts Festival, email membership@nywift.org to join NYWIFT.
The regular submission deadline is November 13 at 11 p.m. EST. The late deadline is December 13 at 11 p.m. EST. Go Indie TV will charge a $25 fee for any project submitted from November 14-December 13.
The NYWIFT Online Shorts Festival will air on Go Indie TV and and iWomenTV in January. This year will see a new addition: the iWomanTV’s Audience Choice Award. Selected films will be eligible for the $2,000 prize.
