Susan Sarandon to Star in Mother-Daughter Sitcom at NBC

Susan Sarandon joins the growing list of actresses heading to the small screen. She will star in a mother-daughter sitcom for NBC alongside her daughter, Eva Amurri Martino.

Martino will write Growing Ivy with Will McCormack, which follows Ivy (Martino), a woman who has completely put all her focus into her career to try and gain stability in her life. In an attempt to rectify her personal life, Ivy decides to invite her mother (Sarandon) to move in with her so they can work on their relationship.

Sarandon and Martino will executive produce with McCormack and Rashida Jones.

The pair will also co-star in the upcoming Mother’s Day as a mother and daughter. Sarandon just recently booked a guest spot on Mike & Molly.
