SXSW Announces Film Festival Winners

nullI’ve been here on the ground at SXSW for Women and Hollywood and have had the opportunity to see some incredible films, many of which I’m so pleased to say won awards. Destin Daniel Cretton’s incredible Short Term 12, with a standout performance by Brie Larson (watch for our interview with her), won the Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Feature. 

Also, Hannah Fidell won Chicken & Egg’s Narrative Woman Director award for the intense and complicated, A Teacher (we also had the chance to interview Fidell). Here are the women directed winners at SXSW. For all the winners, check out the link below.
