Take Two: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Trailer

It clearly looks like the version that I posted yesterday was a bootleg and not a strategic marketing drop because the trailer has been pulled from You Tube. (If you didn’t see it yesterday you are out of luck.) But Sony did drop in an authorized trailer which to me seems pretty much the same. Random images of action and very little footage of Rooney Mara as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. The clip does not tell me anything aside from the fact that it will be fast paced and full of action.

I do have to take some issue with the tag line they are using — the feel bad movie of Christmas. I never felt while reading the books or watching the Swedish films that they were depressing in any way. They are clearly intense, but I don’t really think they make you feel bad. Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
