“All my life people have been underestimating me,” says Abigail Spencer in a new teaser for “Reprisal.” “Being underestimated is the greatest advantage you can have over other people.” The upcoming Hulu series sees the “Timeless” alumna playing Doris, a woman determined to get revenge against her brother and his gang after they leave her for dead.
“My brother dragged me through a field — they were that convinced I wouldn’t be a threat to them,” Doris explains. It looks like they’ll pay dearly for underestimating her.
Spencer’s credits include “Grey’s Anatomy.” “Suits,” and “Rectify.”
“Reprisal” drops on Hulu December 6.
