The numbers are devastating — white women directed 12% of episodes and women of color directed just 2% of episodes. The lion’s share of episodes are directed by white men at 69%. The figures show that the numbers for white men decreased and the number for men of color increased (it seems that Tyler Perry directed a lot last year and that accounted for the increase), but the number for women DID NOT CHANGE.
