The White House Project — Epic Awards

Last night I attended The White House Project (an organization that I was the first director of) for their annual EPIC Awards. EPIC stands for Enhancing Perceptions in Culture and it honors how important culture is to helping people understand the value of women’s leadership.

The honorees included: Doug Liman, director of Fair Game; Gabi Wilson, Singer and Musician; Duane Baughman, Director and Producer, Bhutto; Ben Houser, Senior Producer, ESPN E:60 Chelsea Baker Story — A League of Her Own and Chelsea Baker, Plant City Little League; Dee Rees, Writer and Producer, Pariah and Marie C. Wilson the Founder of The White House Project.

I am going to upload a couple of videos from the event but make sure to watch the clip from The Chelsea Baker Story (narrated by Geena Davis) cause this girl is the real deal.
