Fans of magical jeans, rejoice!
A third installment of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is in the works, with the planned movie picking up ten years after the events of the last movie.
The trilogy-capper will be based on Sisterhood Everlasting, novelist Ann Brashares’ fifth book in her best-selling series, which finds its maturing quartet embarking on their thirties in separate lives, and one of them dealing with a degenerative disease. Having grown up with its characters, the Sisterhood book series is no longer considered YA, but intended for adults.
It is currently unknown whether all the original actresses — Alexis Bledel, America Ferrerra, Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn — will return. Writer Liz Garcia (The Lifeguard) will pen the script.
