Trailer Watch: A Heart Transplant Takes a Supernatural Turn in “Chambers”

"Chambers"

Sasha (Sivan Alyra Rose) is still getting used to someone else’s heart beating inside her. A new trailer for “Chambers” sees the young heart attack survivor fielding questions about whether her new heart feels “any different” and if she can “tell it’s someone else’s.”

“I just want everything to go back to the way it was before,” Sasha says. “It’s just so weird that someone had to die in order for me to live.” Sasha is seeing things — things that the previous owner of her heart saw. The supernatural Netflix series depicts her quest to  uncover the truth about her donor’s sudden death — and if this footage is any indication, the donor’s creepy parents (Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn) probably had something to do with it. Warned to “watch out for that family,” Sasha finds herself drawn closer to them when they offer her a scholarship.

Created by Leah Rachel (“Audrey,” “Curious Females”), “Chambers” hits Netflix April 26. Rachel serves as showrunner alongside Akela Cooper (“The 100″).
