The official trailer for Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s Sundance hit, Blackfish, was recently released. Intense is the only way to describe it. It feels a lot like The Cove about dolphins in Japan.
Blackfish is a documentary about the performing whale, Tilikum who has killed several people unlike any orca in the wild. Cowperthwaite uses Tilikum to explore the Orca, their treatment in captivity and the sea park industry.
It will hit theaters on July 19th. Check out the trailer below.
