Trailer Watch: Christmas Comes in April with ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Season 2 Trailer

They alive dammit! A new trailer for Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” has just hit the web and we’ve never been more excited to visit a year-round Christmas store.

According to the description provided by Netflix, the second season of the Tina Fey co-created hit comedy picks up shortly after Season 1 ended and finds Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) looking for a new job, Titus (Tituss Burgess) forced to face his past with the appearance of his ex-wife and Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) rediscovering her roots, while landlady Lillian (Carol Kane) finds a surprising romance.

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” made our list of the 10 Best Feminist Shows of 2015, and for good reason. As a young cult kidnapping survivor who is trying to make a new life for herself, Kimmy embodied a well-rounded female character who had both strength and vulnerability. Oh, and the show is utterly hilarious. But what else do you expect from Fey?

By the looks of the trailer, the hilarity continues with Kimmy looking for employment at a Christmas shop, attending therapy and making up songs to accompany adorable cat videos on the Internet. Speaking of songs, we’re hoping for a “Peeno Noir” reprise.

Season 2 of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” hits Netflix on April 15.
